ShareSarathi FAQ
Is the market data live?
During NEPSE trading hours (Monday to Friday, 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM) prices and indices refresh every 10 seconds. Floorsheet and broker figures are complete after the market closes.
What is free?
The Free plan has no time limit. It includes live prices, indices and floorsheet, IPO results and corporate events, company basics and news, one portfolio with up to 10 holdings and capital gains tax, one watchlist of 10 stocks, five price alerts and the Trade Journal.
Is there a mobile app?
Yes, on Google Play and the App Store. The app is available in Nepali and English, and the same account works on the web at sharesarathi.com. MeroShare features are in the app only.
Where does the data come from?
Prices, indices and the floorsheet come from NEPSE. Company financials are read from the quarterly reports companies publish, then checked against other public sources. IPO, dividend and AGM details come from public announcements; when sources disagree on an IPO's size or price we hold the figure back until it is verified.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every new account gets 7 days of Sarathi, our top plan, automatically. After that the account moves to Free unless you buy a plan.
Do plans renew automatically?
No. You pay once for a month, quarter or year, and access ends when that period ends. Nothing is charged again unless you choose to renew.
How can I pay?
With Khalti, eSewa, or a bank or QR transfer. For bank and QR transfers you upload the payment slip and we activate the plan once it is checked. If you upgrade during a paid period, the unused part of your current plan is credited.
How does the portfolio tracker calculate profit?
It uses your weighted average cost (WACC) from the buy and sell transactions you add, then shows profit and loss and estimates capital gains tax on each sale. You can export holdings, transactions and performance as CSV.
How does the MeroShare connection work?
In the app you can link your MeroShare account to check IPO results and apply for IPOs. Your MeroShare login details are stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM) and used only when you ask the app to apply, verify or check something. You can remove a linked account at any time.
What is Portfolio X-Ray?
A Sarathi tool that scores your holdings from 0 to 100 for diversification and quality, and lists what drives the score, such as one stock or sector taking too much of the portfolio. It describes the portfolio you have; it does not predict returns.
How does the conviction score work?
It rates a stock from 0 to 10 by combining five groups of signals: technical (30%), broker flow (25%), fundamentals (20%), chart patterns (15%) and news sentiment (5%). The weights shift with the stock's own trend, and a group with no data is left out rather than counted as neutral. The card shows which group decided the score. It is research information, not a recommendation to buy or sell.
How is fair value estimated?
The headline is the median of three methods that use only the company's own numbers: earnings growth over five years, justified price-to-book and a five-year discounted cash flow. The Graham number is shown as a cross-check. Each method is listed, so you can see when they disagree.
Are the scores investment advice?
No. ShareSarathi is not licensed by SEBON as an investment adviser. Scores, rankings and levels describe the data so you can do your own research; decisions to buy or sell are yours.
What is Ask Sarathi?
An AI assistant on the Sarathi plan that answers questions about stocks, sectors, dividends and events using our market data, up to 50 questions a day. Your questions are processed by Google Gemini and xAI Grok; your portfolio is not sent to them.
How do I delete my account?
In the app go to Profile, then Danger Zone, then Delete Account. Your account is erased 30 days later; signing in again or using the cancel link in our email before then keeps it. If you cannot use the app, email [email protected] from your registered address.
How do I contact support?
Email [email protected] or use the contact form on the website. For bug reports from the app, use Report a Bug in the Help section.
